The Hero in Us All

It was like watching Hope and Determination smiling a billion-watt smile.  This is one of the Happiest pictures you’ll see.Robin Back on Set

Robin Roberts (the beautiful one in the blue dress) sitting at the anchor desk with her ABC Good Morning America team.  Robin’s back, as she promised she would be, after nearly 6 months battling  M.D.S. (myelodysplastic syndromes) a rare and debilitating blood disorder, apparently resulting from her breast cancer treatment five years earlier.  It was a terrible setback, but Robin was about to show us all what it takes to be a real fighter.  And, brought us with her on her journey.Robin Chemo drip It’s hard enough fighting a life threatening disease, but to do it publicly takes that much more; I know.  As a Detroit TV Reporter, I shared part of my journey; though not on such a large scale as Robin.  We are so Happy for you.Hudson Article  newspaper Cancer Survivor

For many of us who are facing, or have been through various challenges, Robin is a TRUE hero. Thank you, Robin, for being such an encouraging symbol.  For sharing your story, your smile, and reminding us how hope and determination, and as you say, “Faith, family, and friends,” can get us through some of the toughest of times.
