Where to find Happiness

Where’s your Happiness?         True Happiness doesn’t   just happen. We’re not going to open the door one day and discover it like “The Publisher’s Clearing House Prize Patrol.”   And, we’re not going to find it in a bottle, in a box, or in somebody else.  We will find it inside of ourselves.  It’s up to us.  We have to make up our minds that we want to have happiness in our lives.  That’s what it takes.  We have to DECIDE TO BE HAPPY!

Happiness is a mindset.  A perspective.  A point of view.  A way of looking at life.  An attitude.  Is it partly cloudy or partly sunny?  Is the glass half empty or half full?  It all depends on our mental vision.  Which means – WE HAVE THE POWER TO BE HAPPY.

It took me a long time to realize this, and I know that I am not the only one.  Many people go through their entire lives without understanding this most Amazing Happiness Secret; that we have always had this power.  It’s like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz who went through all sorts of twists and turns: a haunted forest;  threats by a wicked witch; while searching for her happy home in Kansas.  Finally, she discovered that, all along, she had the power.  By simply clicking together the heels of her ruby slippers.

Though a great pair of shoes is always nice, our power goes far beyond that.  So, no need to keep searching for your happiness any place else.  With that in mind, get ready to work on your Happiness every day.  It’s worth it.  You’re worth it.  We are all worth it.

In this blog (and through Facebook and Twitter and more) I’ll be sharing loads of  Happiness secrets; tips, tricks, and techniques that have helped me and others.  And, if you have some ideas, please pass them along.
